Culture day

Well it was time to visit the 60's and so we went to Abbey Road , saw the studios and walked the famous pedestrian crossing where the Beatles walked for the cover of thier album......The Abbey Road Studio gate walls are covered with adoring graffiti from well wishes from all over the world.
Then off to Harrods in Knightsbridge to do some pretend spending...ha!....Mick saw a pair of shoes he liked....839 pounds!!! ($1200+)......
Claire was in heaven in the shoe department.....her mom would have thought she went to heaven!! Totally outragious designs.
Lunch in another great pub...'Bunch Of Grapes'......great atmosphere and met a couple of fellow canucks there as well.
We walked down the road and spent the afternoon in the Victoria and Albert Museum.....so much to see and so little time...This is Claires favourite place so far.... Then a nice stroll back through Hyde Park back to our hotel passing by the Albert Memorial on the way (that is magnificent)
Its great to be in the pubs and have some wine and beer.....but.......Pub food is cheap and basically lousy......sorry London, no top scores from us.
Tomorrow...off to Nottingham....zzzzzzzz.
