Well Folks.......If there is one way to fly the Atlantic....its...NOT with Thomas Cook Airlines.......Thier customized Airbus planes are fitted with extra seating and so make EVERONES seats so close together that you have to be a five foot Asian with spina bifida to fit in them!!!
The 8 plus hour flight was Agony for Mick ....what a joke......mega complaints will be underway ASAP.
When we arrived there was a Tube strike on!!....So it took from 7am to 11:30 to get from Gatwick to Bayswater by buses and shanksies Pony (loved the languishing stroll through the whole length of Hyde Park with bags in tow after the trip from hell) LOL
So we have arrived and all is well after having a couple of pints in the Pheonix Pub Bayswater and having my first Steak Pie and chips in 30 years!!
Onward and upward from now on!!!
